Mild Peach Chutney Recipe

Ingredients

 
1 large unpeeled apple, cored and chopped
 
1 cup chopped celery
 
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
 
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
 
2 cans (16 ounces each) sliced cling peaches with juice
 
1/2 cup seedless raisins
 
3/4 cup cider vinegar
 
1/2 cup sugar
 
1/2 teaspoon salt
 
1/4 teaspoon ginger
 
Dash cayenne pepper

Directions

Combine all ingredients in 3-quart casserole.
Stir well.
Cover.
MICROWAVE 5 MINUTES on HIGH, or until mixture boils.
Reduce setting.
MICROWAVE 45 MINUTES on '5', or until syrup is thickened and chutney is desired consistency, stirring 2 or 3 times.
Ladle into hot sterilized jars.
Covertightly.
Cool.
Store in refrigerator
