I have never baked any cake in a microwave. So i am confused whether to preheat the oven and how.when we put the batter for making a cake in the oven how much temp is required to be set for how many minutes for a eggless chocolate cake?

I think, you may try omitting the cocoa and add a tsp or so of pure vanilla essence/extract; if it is a plain vanilla cake you are looking for.

I think you can try baking soda or baking powder instead of that.
