Actually there is an interesting story behind this delicious cake and how I actually learned making it. It goes like this…
“Madam, I need to make a cake for my kids on this Christmas, can you help me?” requested my house help, two days before Christmas.
“Oh! Yes, definitely, I am an expert in baking and cooking” I replied with an air of self-admiration.

Eggless cake? How will I make that? I have learnt only the cake with eggs and to be true I am not an expert also. Now what to do…it is a matter of my self-esteem” I thought to myself.
“Don’t you worry dear, I will make a wonderful eggless cake for you,” I said to her and assured myself that I will definitely find out a way.
Immediately, I landed on my chair and made use of the fastest weapon of the time, Google. I Googled around 100 eggless cake recipes within half an hour and called my maid to clean up the oven trays.
Oven trays??? But where was my oven??? Oh no! Here comes another turn in my story; my oven had gone for servicing and was scheduled to arrive after a week. How can I be so forgetful, I cursed myself.

1. Sift white flour with baking soda and chocolate powder.
2. Put sugar and curd and blend well using hands or blender.
3. Gradually add butter and milk and continue blending.
4. Once smooth, take a floured baking pan and put the batter in it.
5. Bake the cake for 7-8 minutes.
6. Once done, let the cake rest for 5 minutes.
7. Reverse the pan and take the chocolate cake out.
8. Apply the frosting of your choice or serve as it is after slicing.
Hi Nidhi, very much, this is a microwave cake recipe. You can check your microwave guide to understand the settings for baking a cake as every microwave has a different operations. If you microwave oven has convection settings for baking cake then all you have to do is choose that setting.
