Ingredients

 Dark pitted cherries - 1 can (16-ounces), drained, reserving syrup
 Currant jelly1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Cornstarch1 Tablespoon
 Cherry brandy - 1/4 cup
 Vanilla Ice Cream

Directions

MAKING
1. In a microwave proof casserole dish, place the cherry syrup, jelly, and cornstarch and cook on HIGH (9) for 3 to 4 minutes or till the mixture is slightly thick
2. Add the cherries and simmer again on HIGH (9) for 2 minutes to warm.
3. In another glass measuring cup, warm the brandy on HIGH (9) for 30 seconds. Gently pour this mixture over the hot cherry sauce.

SERVING
4. Serve over ice cream and set aflame just before serving.
