Mi Lro Gohan Recipe
Ingredients
| Rice grain | 2 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 cup green peas, weighed after shelling | ||
| MEAT | ||
| Ground beef | 10 Ounce | |
| Soy sauce | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Dashi | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 4 Tbs. sake or dry sherry | ||
| EGGS | ||
| 5 eggs, lightly beaten | ||
| Sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Vegetable oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Cook the rice, following the instructions given in gohan.
Meanwhile, prepare the meat.
Combine all the meat ingredients in a small saucepan and set over moderate heat.
Cook, stirring constantly, until the meat loses its pinkness and is broken up into small grains.
Cook for a further 5 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through.
Remove from the heat and keep hot.
Beat all the egg ingredients together and put into a small saucepan.
Set over low heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the eggs scramble and become dry.
Remove from the heat and keep hot.
Cook the peas in boiling salted water for 5 minutes, or until they are just cooked.
Remove from the heat, drain and set aside.
To assemble, fill individual serving bowls with rice.
Level the top and arrange the meat mixture, egg mixture and peas decoratively on top, in three sections.
Pour over any juices from the meat bowl and serve at once.
