Mexican Veal Recipe
Mexican Veal with sauce is my favorite for a light lunch. You can enjoy the Meixcan Veal as a side dsh also. Try out the recipe and let me know about it here!
Ingredients
| 1 breast of veal | ||
| 3 tablespoons oil or 1/4 cup butter | ||
| Onion | 1 Large, sliced | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm) | |
| 1 red or green capsicum, sliced in rings | ||
| Chopped tomatoes | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 teaspoons mild chilli powder | ||
| 1/2 cup beef stock or water | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | 1 To taste | |
Directions
Cut breast of veal in 1-inch wide pieces.
Brown breast of veal in hot oil or butter in a frying pan with lid.
Reduce heat and saute onion, garlic and capsicum in covered pan until onion is soft.
Add tomatoes, chilli powder, stock or water and season to taste.
Simmer, covered, for 1 hour or until veal is tender.
Serve with the sauce spooned over the veal.
