Mexican Fish Portions Recipe
Ingredients
12 frozen, fried, breaded fish portions
12 tortillas (frozen or canned)
Shortening
1 1/2 cups finely shredded lettuce
12 thin tomato slices
6 ounces natural Cheddar cheese, shredded (11/2 cups)
Taco sauce
Directions
Cook fish portions according to package directions.
Meanwhile, heat 1/4 inch shortening in skillet.
Fry tortillas till lightly browned.
Drain on paper toweling.
Place cooked fish portion on tortilla; top with lettuce, tomato slice, and shredded Cheddar cheese.
Serve with bottled taco sauce.
