Mexican Banana Bake Recipe

125 g pkg. cream cheese 125 g pkg.
 
1/4 c. brown sugar 50 mL
 
1/4 c. dark rum 50 mL
 
3 Tbsp. light cream 45 mL
 
1/8 tsp. cinnamon 0.5 mL
 
5 medium bananas
 
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine 15 mL

Directions

Preheat the oven to 325°F (170°C).
Combine the first 5 ingredients in a blender or a food processor fitted with a steel blade.
Blend or process on high speed for a few seconds or until completely smooth.
Slice half the bananas into a small casserole or serving dish.
Dot with the butter or margarine; spread with half the cheese mixture.
Slice the remaining bananas into the casserole and spread with the remaining cheese mixture.
Bake, uncovered, until hot and bubbly — approximately 20-25 minutes.
Serve at once.
