Mexican Turkey Dip Recipe
This mexican turkey dip is a meaty dip prepared with cream cheese and ground turkey. A layered dip, the turkey is topped with salsa with cream cheese and sour cream mix on top. Finished with cheddar cheese, it is baked and garnished with black olives.
Ingredients
| Ground turkey | 1 pound | |
| Taco seasoning mix package | 1 | |
| Nonstick cooking spray | ||
| Salsa | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 3 ounces reduced fat cream cheese, softened | ||
| 1/2 cup nonfat sour cream | ||
| Reduced fat cheddar cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| 2 tablespoons each minced green onion and sliced black olives | ||
| 24 no-salt corn chips | ||
Directions
In large nonstick skillet, over medium-high heat, saute turkey 5 to 6 minutes or until turkey is no longer pink; drain.
Stir in seasoning mix.
Spread turkey mixture in 9-inch square baking dish lightly coated with nonstick cooking spray.
Top turkey mixture with salsa.
In small bowl combine cream cheese and sour cream.
Spread mixture over salsa and sprinkle Cheddar cheese over top.
Bake at 350°F 25 minutes or until bubbly.
