Mexican Tomato Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Ripe tomatoes | 500 Gram | |
| Onion | 1 Medium | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm) | |
| Dried oregano | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1/2 cup vegetable stock or chicken stock | ||
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon (Leveled) | |
| Vegetable oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Green chillies | 6 , chopped | |
| Pinch of ground cloves | ||
| Pinch of ground cinnamon | ||
Directions
1. Put onion, tomato, garlic and chillies in a blender or food processor. Make a puree.
2. Heat oil, add tomato mixture/cook over low heat for 15 minutes. Add stock and stir well.
3. Add salt, oregano, cloves and cinnamon. Simmer over low heat for another 15 minutes.
