Mexican Style Hot Chocolate Recipe
Ingredients
| Water | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Unsweetened cocoa powder | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Non-caloric liquid sweetener to equal | ||
| Sugar | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Cinnamon stick | 3 1/2 Inch | |
| Skim milk | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vanilla | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
In saucepan combine water, unsweetened cocoa powder, non-caloric sweetener, and stick cinnamon.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; boil 1 minute longer.
Stir in the skim milk.
Cook till heated through (do not boil).
Add the vanilla.
Remove the stick cinnamon.
Beat with a rotary beater.
If desired, garnish each serving with an additional cinnamon stick.
