Hot Mexican Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Onions | 2 Medium, chopped | |
| 1 medium-size green pepper, chopped | ||
| Celery stalks | 5 , chopped | |
| Vegetable oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Tomatoes | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Green chiles | 2 Can (10oz), chopped | |
| Chili powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Pinch of sugar | ||
| Dash of ground cumin | ||
| Dash of garlic powder | ||
| Salt | 1 Dash | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Reserve the liquid from the can, while draining the tomatoes.
2) Chop the tomatoes and set it aside.
MAKING
3) In a large skillet, add oil to heat up.
4) Place onion, green pepper and celery to sauté for a while.
5) Add chopped tomatoes, reserved liquid, and chilies to skillet.
6) Stir in remaining ingredients.
7) Cover with a lid and simmer for an hour by stirring occasionally.
SERVING
8) Serve with your favorite Mexican preparations.
