 Ground beef3/4 pound
 Onion1 Small, chopped
 Sugar1 Teaspoon
 Chili powder3/4 Teaspoon
 Garlic salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Salsa8 Bottle (1l)
 Pita Bread Rounds- 4 large or 8 small
 Green Chilies- 1 4-ounce can chopped, drained
 Sliced Ripe Olives- 1 2 1/4-ounce can, drained
 Monterey jack cheese1 Cup (16 tbs), shredded

Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2) In a non-stick pan, sauté ground beef and onion until meat is brown.
3) Remove form the heat and pour of liquid if any.

MAKING
4) Add in sugar, chili powder, and garlic salt.
5) Smear the salsa on each pita.
6) Spoon the meat mixture, green chillies, olives, and cheese over salsa.
7) Arrange the pita breads over a baking sheet or directly on oven rack.
8) Bake in the oven for 10 minutes or till pita bread is hot and cheese is melted.

SERVING
9) Serve hot with little sour cream on side if desired.
