Classic Mexican Hot Chocolate Recipe
Ingredients
| Milk | 6 Cup (96 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Unsweetened chocolate | 3 Ounce | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Eggs | 3 | |
| Vanilla | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Whipped cream | 1 |
Directions
In saucepan, combine milk, sugar, chocolate and cinnamon.
Heat until chocolate is melted.
Cook and stir until mixture almost boils (do not boil).
In bowl, beat eggs with vanilla.
Add 1 cup hot milk, then return to saucepan.
Cook for 2 minutes.
Beat until frothy.
Pour into mugs and garnish with whipped cream.
