Melt 1 tablespoon butter in large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add 1 tortilla and fry on each side until lightly browned, about 1 minute.
Place about 1 ounce of cheese in center of tortilla and top with 2 tablespoons salsa.
Fold sides of tortilla towards center, overlapping slightly.
Continue frying until tortilla is golden brown and cheese is melted, about 2 to 3 minutes.
Transfer to platter and keep warm in oven.
Repeat with remaining ingredients.
Cut each tortilla into 5 pieces and serve hot.
Mexican Hot Bites can be prepared ahead.
Reheat in 375°F oven about 5 minutes.
