Mexican Green Peppers Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 medium-size green peppers | ||
| Ground beef | 1 pound | |
| Onion | 1 Large, chopped | |
| Tomatoes | 1 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Cooked rice | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Chili powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Tomato sauce | 1 Can (10oz) | |
Directions
Preparation
1) Remove the top of green peppers and deseed.
2) Place peppers in boiling salted water and cook for 5 minutes.
3) Drain and keep aside.
4) Mix the next 7 ingredients.
5) Spoon meat mixture into the peppers.
6) Arrange in a 2-quart shallow casserole.
7) Add tomato sauce over and around peppers.
8) Place in oven and bake at 375° for 45 to 50 minutes.
SERVING
9) Serve immediately.
