Mexican Cold Tomato Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Tomatoes- 2 lb, (1 kg), peeled, de-seeded and chopped | ||
| Onion | 1 | |
| Green chilli pepper | 1 To taste, deseeded | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm) | |
| Fresh oregano- 1 tablespoon (15 ml spoon) OR Dried oregano- 1 teaspoon (5 ml spoon) | ||
| Coriander | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Olive oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Red wine vinegar | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
MAKING
1. In a bowl, mix together all the ingredeints, until they are well belnded, then season to taste
2. Cover the bowl and chill it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or up to 3 days
SERVING
3. Serve the sauce chilled with fish
