Mexican Chocolate Sundaes Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 tablets Mexican chocolate, broken into wedges | ||
| Whipping cream | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 or 3 small bananas | ||
| Vanilla or coffee ice cream | ||
| Chopped toasted almonds | ||
Directions
In a 1- to 2-quart pan, combine chocolate and whipping cream.
Stir constantly over low heat until chocolate is melted (about 5 minutes).
Set aside and keep warm.
Peel bananas and slice in half crosswise; then cut each piece in half lengthwise.
Line 4 or 6 bowls with 2 banana slices each.
Top with a scoop of ice cream and sprinkle with almonds.
Pour chocolate sauce over
