Creamy Mexican Chocolate Recipe
Ingredients
6 cups milk
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
6 ounces coarsely chopped sweet cooking chocolate
1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped
2 tablespoons sugar
6 cinnamon sticks
Directions
Heat milk with the 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon until steaming.
Add chopped chocolate and stir until melted.
Beat with a rotary mixer until mixture is frothy.
Have ready heavy cream, whipped stiff with the sugar.
Pour hot chocolate into cups and top each with a spoonful of the cream.
Drop a cinnamon stick in each cup if you wish.
