Mexican Cheese Fondue Recipe

Ingredients
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
2/3 cup half and half
1/2 cup chicken broth, plus more to thin sauce if needed
1 1/2 cups Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
3 tablespoons mild salsa
Directions
Melt butter in small saucepan over medium heat.
Whisk in flour and garlic powder until blended.
Whisk in half and half and chicken broth.
Continue to heat the mixture until it thickens and starts to bubble,about 2 minutes.
Reduce heat to low.
Gradually add the cheese, stirring until melted; stir in salsa.
Transfer to fondue pot.
Add broth, a little at a time, to achieve desired consistency.
