 Peanut oil1 Teaspoon
 Red onion1 , julienned
 Grated ginger1 Tablespoon
 Merlot1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Plums2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced
 Pinch orange zest

Directions

In a skillet, over medium heat, add peanut oil and saute onion and ginger for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add Merlot, plums, and orange zest.
Cover, reduce heat, and simmer until plums are quite mushy and sauce has thickened.
