Merlot Plum Chutney Recipe
Ingredients
| Peanut oil | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Red onion | 1 , julienned | |
| Grated ginger | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Merlot | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Plums | 2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Pinch orange zest | ||
Directions
In a skillet, over medium heat, add peanut oil and saute onion and ginger for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add Merlot, plums, and orange zest.
Cover, reduce heat, and simmer until plums are quite mushy and sauce has thickened.
