Meringue Cake Recipe
Ingredients
1 pkg. Swiss style, or any other chocolate cake, mix,
2 layer size
2 eggs, separated
1 pkg. coconut almond frosting mix, prepared as directed
Directions
The frosting is baked on the cake.
Prepare cake mix as directed, but add 2 additional egg yolks.
Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Beat egg whites to stiff peaks and fold into prepared frosting.
Spoon over cake batter.
Bake for 35 minutes at 350° F.
Cool before serving.
