Meringue Shell Recipe

Ingredients
4 egg whites, room temperature
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Beat egg whites until foamy.
Add cream of tartar and beat until stiff.
Gradually add sugar and vanilla.
Fully shape in greased 9-inch pie plate.
Bake 1 hour at 275 degrees.
Let cool in oven.
Great for fruit or cream fillings.
