Melted Chocolate Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
| 3/4 cup Semisweet chocolate chips | ||
| All purpose flour | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking soda | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1/2 cup low-calorie margarine, softened | ||
| 1/3 cup granulated fructose | ||
| Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Egg | 1 | |
Directions
Melt chocolate chips in a microwave oven or over simmering water.
Cool to room temperature.
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
Stir to blend.
In a medium-size mixing bowl, beat margarine and fructose until smooth.
Beat in vanilla and egg.
Continue beating at least 2 more minutes.
Add melted chocolate chips and beat well.
Then gradually beat in flour mixture.
Drop batter by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 8 minutes.
(Cookies will be soft.) Allow to cool on pan for 2 to 3 minutes; then move to rack.
These are crisp chocolate cookies.
If you prefer softer cookies, try putting a slice of apple in your cookie tin with the baked cookies.
