Melon Coupe Sasha Recipe
Ingredients
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dark rum | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Cognac | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Cantaloupe melon | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Mint leaves | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Mint | 8 Small |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a small saucepan, bring the water and sugar to a boil, cook for about 1 minute, until the sugar dissolves.
2) Turn off the heat , allow to slightly cool and stir in the rum and Cognac.
3) In a bowl, mix the melon balls and chopped mint together. Pour over the syrup, mix gently and refrigerate covered for about 3 hours, stirring 1-2 times.
SERVING
4) Spoon the melon balls equally into 8 coupes (stemmed goblets), pour over some syrup, garnish with a mint sprig and serve.
