Melktert Recipe
I grew up eating this Melktert frequently and am happy to share this recipe with you. This Melktert when served as Dessert is sure to please your family members. You need to try this Melktert just once! You'll certainly remain loyal to it forever!
Ingredients
1 baked pie crust
Directions
Filling: Boil together 2 cups milk, 3/8-cup sugar and some stick cinnamon and a lump of butter.
Mix together: 1 rounded dssrtspn.
each of flour, cornflour and custard powder.
Mix this in turn with a little cold milk.
Stir in boiling mixture and cook till thickened.
Cool.
Pour into pastry shell and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
