Easy Melba Sauce Recipe

Melba Sauce is a delicious dessert sauce which I always crave for. Try this Melba Sauce; I bet, you will surely get a lot of compliments for this.

Ingredients

 
3/4 lb. fresh or frozen raspberries
 
Sugar
 
Lemon juice
 
1/2 Tbs. cornflour or potato flour

Directions

Cook the fruit gently, without water, until it is reduced to a pulp.
Sieve.
Blend the thickening with a little cold water and add it to the fruit.
Stir and heat until it boils, when potato starch will be cooked but cornflour should be simmered for 2-3 minutes.
Add sugar and lemon to taste.
It may be used hot or chilled.
