Directions

MAKING
1. Heat a pot on medium high heat and pour some oil.
2. Put the diced onions into the pot, stir it around for 1 minute and pop the meat alternative inside it.
3. Stir it around, reduce the heat and let it cook for 3 minutes.
4. Season with chilly powder, ancho chilly powder, chipotle powder, ground cumin, kosher salt, black pepper and oregano, mix well and let it cook for 1 minute.
5. Add kidney beans, jalapeno peppers, cover the top and let it cook for 20 minutes.

SERVING
6. Serve the meaty red bean chilli with a rice side.
