Meaty Noodle Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 cups medium noodles | ||
| 1 11 -ounce can condensed cheddar cheese soup | ||
| Milk | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dairy sour cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Stalk celery | 1 , thinly sliced | |
| 1 2 1/2-ounce jar sliced mushrooms, drained | ||
| Pimiento | 2 Tablespoon, diced | |
| Snipped parsley | 1 Tablespoon, dried | |
| Minced onion | 1 Teaspoon, dried | |
| 2 cups chopped cooked beef, pork, or ham | ||
| 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Tablespoon, melted | |
Directions
Cook noodles according to package directions.
Drain well.
Meanwhile, in a large bowl combine soup, milk, and sour cream.
Stir in celery, mushrooms, pimiento, parsley, and onion.
Stir in cooked noodles and meat.
Transfer to a 2-quart casserole.
In a small bowl combine bread crumbs and melted butter.
Sprinkle crumb mixture over casserole.
Drain well.
