Herbed Meatloaf Recipe
Ingredients
| Yellow onion | 1 , chopped | |
| Garlic | 3 Clove (5gm), chopped | |
| Olive oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Ground beef | 1 pound | |
| Fresh basil, oregano, parsley (minced) | ||
| Bread crumbs (enough to bind) | ||
| Egg | 1 | |
| Ketchup | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
1. Saute onion and garlic in olive oil until golden and then transfer to a small bowl and cool in the fridge or freezer.
2. Heat oven to 350°. Combine beef, herbs, chilled onion, garlic, bread crumbs, egg, and ketchup. Shape into 2 loaves.
3. Cover with a little ketchup on top of each loaf and bake 30 to 45 minutes.
