Meatballs Carbonnade Recipe

Ingredients
| Bacon Slices | 3 | |
| Onions | 2 Medium, thinly sliced | |
| All purpose flour | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 teaspoons instant beef bouillon granules | ||
| Brown sugar | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Vinegar | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Dried thyme | 1/2 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Beer | 1 12 Ounce | |
| 20 Freezer Meatballs | ||
| Snipped parsley | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
In skillet cook bacon till crisp.
Drain bacon, reserving drippings in skillet.
Crumble bacon; set aside.
In skillet cook onion in drippings till tender.
Stir in flour, bouillon granules, brown sugar, vinegar, salt, thyme, and dash pepper.
Add beer.
Cook and stir till mixture bubbles.
Stir in frozen meatballs.
Cover; simmer 20 minutes.
Top with parsley and bacon.
