2 lbs ground pork
 
1/2 cup bread crumbs
 
2 eggs, lightly beaten
 
1/2 cup water
 
1/4 tsp mustard
 
1 tsp dry mustard
 
1 tsp salt
 
1/4 tsp pepper
 
1/4 tsp ground cloves
 
1/4 tsp cinnamon
 
2 tbsp oil
 
1/2 cup onions, chopped
 
2 cups beef broth
 
3 tbsp flour, browned
 
3 tbsp cold water

Directions

In a medium size bowl, mix pork, bread crumbs, eggs, water and seasonings.
Shape into meatballs.
Set aside.
In a skillet, heat oil.
Saute onions.
Add meatballs.
Brown lightly.
Fold in broth.
Cover.
Over moderate heat, simmer 1 hour.
In a small bowl, blend flour in cold water.
Fold into stew, mixing well.
