Meat Loaf Tropicale Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground beef | 1 1/2 Pound | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Ripe banana | 1 Cup (16 tbs), mashed | |
| 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats | ||
| Green pepper | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Onion | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Prepared mustard | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Nutmeg | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Allspice | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Bacon Slices | 2 | |
| Orange marmalade | 3 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Heat oven to 350°.
Mix all ingredients except bacon and marmalade.
Spread mixture in ungreased loaf pan, 9x5x3 inches.
Crisscross bacon slices on loaf, then spread marmalade on top.
Bake uncovered 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
Drain off fat.
