Ingredients

 Onion1 Medium, chopped
 Butter/Margarine2 Tablespoon, melted
 1 10 1/2 ounce can condensed cream of celery soup
 1 7 1/2 or 8-ounce can (1 cup) tomatoes, cut up
 Thyme1/4 Teaspoon
 Pepper1 Dash
 1/2 7-ounce package elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
 1 12-ounce can luncheon meat, cut in 1x 1/2-inch strips
 Green pepper1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 2 ounces sharp process American cheese, shredded

Directions

In medium skillet, cook onion in butter or margarine till tender but not brown.
Stir in the soup, tomatoes, thyme, and pepper.
Add the cooked macaroni, luncheon meat, and green pepper.
Spoon into a 1 1/2 -quart casserole.
Top with shredded cheese.
Bake, uncovered, in moderate oven (350°) for 35 to 40 minutes or till heated through.
