Meat Loaf Italiano Recipe
Meatloaf italiano is a beef and oats meatloaf recipe. Prepared with pizza sauce for flavor, the meatloaf italiano has cheese in it too. Herbed with oregano, it is baked in the oven for a filling and flavorful main course dish.
Ingredients
| Egg | 1 , beaten | |
| Ground beef | 1 1/2 Pound | |
| Pizza sauce | 1 8 Ounce | |
| Shredded cheese | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), pasteurized | |
| 3/4 cup old fashioned or quick oats, uncooked | ||
| Cold water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Oregano leaves | 1/2 Teaspoon, crushed | |
Directions
In large bowl, combine all ingredients except 1/4 cup pizza sauce; mix lightly.
Shape into loaf in 10x6-inch backing dish.
Bake at 350°, 1 hour.
Top with remaining sauce.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
