Meat Loaf Recipe
The taste of this very Meat Loaf recipe has played on my mind so much that I hardly ever go for any other Meat Loaf recipe. Beef is the main ingredient in this Meat Loaf. Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 onion, chopped
3/4 cup oatmeal
1 egg, beaten
1 cup milk
Salt and pepper
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tsp dry mustard
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
In a bowl, mix first 5 ingredients.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Press mixture into a buttered loaf pan.
Set aside.
In a second bowl, blend brown sugar, ketchup and dry mustard until smooth.
Spread over meat loaf.
Cover pan with aluminum foil.
Cook in oven 75 minutes, removing foil after 30 minutes.
In a bowl, mix first 5 ingredients.
