Meat Loaf Recipe

I have to admit this recipe of meat loaf is on my favorite list. Even though meat loaf is a side dish I enjoy snacking on it any time of the day. Stock up on more and more beef as you will want to make this meat loaf time and again. Just try this meat loaf recipe and see how you get hooked to it!

Ingredients

 
1/2 lb. ground beef or veal
 
1/4 lb. ground lean pork
 
1 1/2 medium slices soft bread, torn in pieces, and 1/2 cup milk; or 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs and 2/3 cup milk
 
1 egg, beaten
 
2 tbsp. minced onion
 
1/2 tsp. salt
 
1/8 tsp. each pepper, dry mustard, celery salt, and garlic salt
 
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce catsup

Directions

Heat oven to 350° (mod.).
Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
Shape into 2 loaves in shallow baking pan.
Spread with catsup or your favorite bottled barbecue sauce.
Bake 1 hr., until done.
