Meat Durbari Recipe
Meat Durbari has a different taste. Meat Durbari gets its taste from mutton mixed with vinegar and flavored by spices. Meat Durbari is loved by many mutton eaters around the world.
Ingredients
Mutton 1kg
Onion 1 big
Ginger 1" piece
Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
Green chilly 2
Clarified butter 3 tbsp
Garlic 3-4
Wine vinegar 3 tbsp
Warm water, 1 cup
Tomato puree 1 tbsp
For paste
Sesame seeds 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds 1 tbsp
Bay leaf 1
Poppy seeds 2 tbsp
Cinnamon 2" piece
Dried red chilies 4
Cloves 4
Black peppercorns 10
Brown cardamom 2
Directions
Wash and cut the mutton into pieces.
Grind the spices to form a smooth paste and rub it over the mutton.
Marinate overnight.
In a pan, heat the oil and saute the onions in it.
Add the ginger, garlic, salt and fry.
Now put the mutton and cook until the meat becomes brown.
Pour in the water and bring to a boil.
Cover and cook until meat is tender.
Stir at regular intervals.
Add the tomato puree, green chilies and coriander leaves and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
