Meat Cutlets Recipe
Meat Cutlets has a fine taste. Meat Cutlets gets its taste from meat mixed with eggs and crumbs, flavored with mustard. Meat Cutlets is inspired by many food chains worldwide.
Ingredients
1/2 Ib. butter or oleomargarine
Dash of cayenne pepper
1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup light cream
Pepper
1 to 2 Ibs. leftover meat
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon French mustard
2 eggs
Cracker crumbs
Fat for frying
Directions
Melt the butter or margarine in a pot, add the flour, and stir until smooth.
Add the cream, stir until thick, then add 1/2 cup water and stir again until thick.
Chop up the meat and add to the mixture, stirring well; then add the mustard.
Beat one egg well, and add it, the cayenne, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until thick.
Transfer to a platter and place in the refrigerator.
When the mixture has hardened (in 15 or 20 minutes), cut it in oblong slices or cubes.
Beat an egg and dip the slices in it, then roll them in cracker crumbs and fry them in deep fat until golden brown.
Add the cream, stir until thick, then add 1/2 cup water and stir again until thick.
