Meat And Potato Pie Recipe
This recipe of Meat And Potato Pie was picked up by me from a gourmet magazine, I twisted it a little bit to meet my taste here I am, sharing my version with you. There is not a single month when I don't serve this yummy Main Dish! The Meat And Potato Pie is made with Beef which can be easily found at any grocery store. It is highly recommended, you must try this Meat And Potato Pie recipe.
Ingredients
2 pounds ground beef
2 2/3 cups instant mashed potato puffs
2 eggs
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons instant minced onion
1/2 cup catsup
2 cups milk
Directions
Mix all ingredients.
Divide between 2 ungreased 9 inch pie pans; spread evenly.
Wrap, label and freeze.
1 hour 15 minutes before serving, remove 1 pan Meat and Potato Pie from freezer and unwrap.
Have ready: instant mashed potato puffs (enough for 4 servings); 1/2. cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese.
Bake pie uncovered in 375° oven 1 hour.
After 50 minutes of baking, prepare potato puffs as directed on package.
Mound potato around edge of meat; sprinkle cheese on potato.
Bake until cheese is melted, 3 to 4 minutes. (4 or 5 servings.)
