Meat And Potato Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Red onion | 1/2 , finely chopped | |
| Lean ground beef | 1 1/2 Pound | |
| Chili powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Allspice | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Thyme | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 3 potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced | ||
| Paprika | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Tomatoes | 28 Ounce, chopped | |
| Tomato sauce | 1 Cup (16 tbs), heated | |
| Chopped parsley to taste | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Place butter, onion and meat in casserole.
Season well with chili powder, allspice and thyme.
Cover and microwave 6 minutes.
Mix well and cover with 1/2 of sliced potatoes; sprinkle with paprika.
Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and chopped parsley.
Cover with remaining potatoes and season well.
Cover and microwave 12 minutes.
Mix well and continue microwaving 7 minutes covered.
Season well with chili powder, allspice and thyme.
Cover and microwave 6 minutes.
