Ingredients

 Rice1 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked
 1 lb. hamburger or ground turkey
 Egg1
 Onion2 Teaspoon
 Salt1 1/2 Teaspoon
 Italian seasoning1/8 Teaspoon
 2 1/2 cup tomato juice or 2 cans tomato soup or 2 cans tomato sauce mixed with 1/2 cup water
 Sugar1 Tablespoon

Directions

Combine all ingredients with 1/2 cup juice.
Shape into balls.
Mix soup and sugar.
Pour over meatballs.
Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes.
I always double recipe, using half juice and half soup.
It also works well to use half hamburger and half turkey.
Doubling the recipe will fill 1 standard size sheet cake pan.
