| Rice | 1 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked | |
| 1 lb. hamburger or ground turkey | ||
| Egg | 1 | |
| Onion | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Italian seasoning | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| 2 1/2 cup tomato juice or 2 cans tomato soup or 2 cans tomato sauce mixed with 1/2 cup water | ||
| Sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Combine all ingredients with 1/2 cup juice.
Shape into balls.
Mix soup and sugar.
Pour over meatballs.
Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes.
I always double recipe, using half juice and half soup.
It also works well to use half hamburger and half turkey.
Doubling the recipe will fill 1 standard size sheet cake pan.
