Mayonnaise Cake Recipe

2 cups flour
 
1 cup sugar
 
2 teaspoons baking soda
 
1/4 cup baking cocoa
 
1 cup water or milk
 
1 cup mayonnaise type salad dressing
 
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Measure and sift together the flour, sugar, baking soda and baking cocoa 3 or 4 times; sift into a large mixing bowl.
Combine the water, mayonnaise-type salad dressing and vanilla in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
Add to the flour mixture and beat for 2 minutes.
Pour into a lightly oiled 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until cake tests done.
