Measure mix and sugar into a bowl and stir in mixture of milk, mayonnaise and vanilla.
Spoon into 12 large greased muffin cups.
Bake at 400F for 15 minutes.
Cool slightly and remove from pans.
Split and serve covered with sweetened fresh berries halved or crushed and whipped cream or ice cream.
