Mayonnaise And Variations Recipe
I have to admit this recipe of mayonnaise and variations is on my favorite list. It is a great side dish. A good way to use up milk product is to make some irresistible mayonnaise and variations. You will be tempted to prepare this mayonnaise and variations recipe again.
Ingredients
Salt and fresh pepper to taste
3 egg yolks
1 teaspoon mustard, Dijon style or dry
1 1/2 cups oil (any kind you select)
1-2 tablespoons vinegar or lemon juice
Directions
In a bowl, mix the salt, pepper, egg yolks, and mustard.
Whisk well.
Begin adding the oil a teaspoonful at a time.
Continue to whisk until the mixture emulsifies (thickens).
Add the oil, a little more rapidly, in a thin stream, as you whisk.
Finish with 1-2 tablespoons vinegar or lemon juice, depending on consistency desired.
