Mashmallow Brownies Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup cocoa
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup walnuts, chopped
20 large marshmallows
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
Butter a 9 x 13 inch (23 x 33 cm) baking pan.
In a large saucepan, melt butter.
Fold in cocoa.
Off heat, mix in sugar, eggs and vanilla extract.
Set aside.
In a bowl, sift flour, baking powder and salt.
Add to cocoa mixture.
Fold in nuts.
Spread evenly into pan.
Bake in oven 20 minutes.
Remove from oven 7 minutes before the end.
Cover with marshmallows.
Return to oven so marshmallows will melt.
Let cool 15 minutes.
Cut into squares.
