Mashed Butternut Squash Recipe Video

Butternut squash
 
Curry powder
 
Cinnamon
 
Butter
 
Local honey
 
Lime juice of 1 lime
 
Apple cider
 
Fresh chives
 
Kosher salt
 
Black pepper

Directions

Peel and cut butternut squash into small cubes.

Steam them until they are fork tender.

Chop the chives, a little bit.

To put the dish together, take the squash in a bowl, add the butter, little bit of cinnamon and curry powder, lime juice, little bit of chives and little bit of cider and a little bit of local honey.

Get a good masher and mash everything together.

Lastly add some black pepper and little bit of kosher salt. Mix the seasoning.

Take a serving dish and put that right in the center.

Finish with some reserved chives.
