2 rutabagas

Directions
1. Cut each rutabaga into quarters; peel, then cut into 1/2-inch cubes. In 3-quart saucepan over high heat, in 1 inch boiling water, heat rutabagas to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes, until rutabagas are fork-tender; drain.
2. In large bowl, with mixer at low speed, beat rutabagas, salt, sugar, and 2 tablespoons butter or margarine (1/4 stick) until fluffy. Gradually add hot milk; beat until mixture is smooth.
3. In small saucepan over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter or margarine (1/4 stick); cook until butter turns golden brown, stirring (if butter gets too dark, it will be bitter).
