Marzipan Torte Recipe
Ingredients
| Marzipan Filling | ||
| All purpose flour | 1 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), softened | |
| Sugar | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Raspberry jam | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Prepare filling and set aside.
In a bowl, stir together flour and baking powder.
In a large mixing bowl, beat together butter and sugar until creamy.
Add egg and beat until light and fluffy.
Stir in flour mixture and mix well.
Firmly press dough in an even layer in a 9 inch spring form pan.
Spread 1/4 cup of the jam over the dough.
Spread filling in an even layer over the jam.
Bake in a 350° oven for 50 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Spread remaining 1/4 cup jam over the top.
