Marzetti Stew Recipe

Ingredients
1 lb. ground round steak
1/2 lb. ground fresh pork
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 med. bunch celery, chopped
1 No. 3 can tomatoes
1 No. 3 can tomato juice
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
3 tiny red chili peppers
1 2-oz. can mushrooms, stems and pieces
1 1 lb. box wide noodles
1 lb. American cheese, grated or cut fine
Directions
Brown meat in small amount of salad oil.
Fry onion and celery until lightly browned in a small amount of oil.
Combine meat, onion, celery, tomatoes, tomato juice, tomato sauce, red chili and mushrooms; simmer gently for 4 hours.
Cook noodles in boiling water 20 minutes; drain.
Add to meat mixture when almost ready to serve.
Add cheese; allow to melt just before serving.
